The boys felt confident as they headed for their first international game...
...and maybe a little thirsty. Still hot, hot, hot.
The field was waterlogged after a day of thunderstorms but the weather cleared nicely just before kick-off.The game was fast and furious, but played with great sportsmanship. The Bahamas took an early lead but the Tigers clawed their way back and dominated the second half for a final score of 2-1.
Madison's first goal game from huge pressure on the Bahama's goalmouth, cross in from Brian Jackson, and in a scrum with the ball knocking back and forth in front of goal, John Collins claimed the goal as the last Hand player to get his foot to it before it crossed the line.
Cole McArdle scored Madison's winner with a well struck long shot from the right well beyond the goalkeeper's reach.
The elevator team dance.
High rollers at the end of the day.
